De Saisset Museum will hire an audiovisual preservation consultant to survey the collection and make recommendations for rehousing and transferring these works to appropriate formats for long-term preservation, access, and exhibition. The museum will then transfer the video works to stable and viewable formats. The project will allow the museum to fulfill requests for exhibiting and viewing these pioneering works which were previously largely inaccessible because the pieces existed primarily on outdated formats.
