Blithewold Mansion and Gardens

Blithewold Mansion and Gardens will purchase the supplies necessary to inventory its collection of 4,800 items and will convert the existing collections management system to a PastPerfect database in order to improve management of and access to its archival and three-dimensional collections. Professional consultants will train staff and volunteers on the new PastPerfect software, which will provide internal control of the collections and support their scholarly and programmatic use. This project will benefit staff, visitors, program participants, and other community organizations as it helps preserve one of the best-documented horticultural properties in historic New England and makes it more accessible for use and research.
