Columbus Museum of Art

Columbus Museum of Art will purchase and install high-quality art storage racks for its 900-piece painting collection and other framed works of art as part of a renovation and expansion of the existing facility. The project more than doubles the onsite art storage capacity from the current 3,950 square feet to 8,350 square feet. The new storage arrangement will allow for safer rotation of permanent collections from storage and enable the museum to better safeguard its loans and acquisitions. The new racks will increase flexibility, visibility, and accessibility of one of the most important categories of the museum's 12,000-piece collection.
