Northern Illinois University (Northern Illinois Univeristy Anthropology Museum)

Northern Illinois University Anthropology Museum will improve the security and long term preservation of the museum's cultural collections by purchasing high density compact shelving, fabricating individual storage mounts, and re-housing the entire collection. The 3,262 objects in the cultural collections of the Anthropology Museum represent the everyday lives of people in Southeast Asia, Africa, Oceania, and Native North America. This project will provide space for planned growth and enhance access to the museum collection, for students, faculty and visitors.
