Gilcrease Museum

The Gilcrease Museum will inventory, catalogue and digitally image approximately 3,500 Mississippian ceramic vessels from their Harry J. Lemley Collection. To ensure the accuracy of the information associated with this material, the images and records will be uploaded into a password protected review site where data and images will be posted for expert scholar and artist tagging, review and approval of terms, and cultural assessment. At the conclusion of the project, the digital images of the Lemley collection will be made available to researchers, Native artists, and the general public via the museum's website.
