Denver Museum of Miniatures Dolls & Toys

The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys will create a digital inventory of its collection of 2,180 historic, iconic, and artisan toys. The museum will hire a full-time, temporary inventory manager to work with staff and volunteers to inventory and photograph the collection and update information in the collections database. The project will produce manuals, standardized procedures, and reports on the inventory. The museum will share project information with visitors and members through its newsletter, and incorporate newly discovered information about the collection into exhibitions and educational programs. The project will support development of a collections plan, increase staff efficiency and collections knowledge, and yield important information for long-term museum planning.
