Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee Art Museum will implement Phase One of its plan to improve and expand its central paintings vault. When completed, this project will double the storage capacity of the paintings vault and improve access to the museum’s collection for visitors, students, researchers, and staff. The installation of 66 painting storage screens will improve accessibility to the collection during reinstallation and beyond, and reduce the risks to the collection from offsite travel and storage and will save hundreds of thousands of dollars in offsite storage costs.
