Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana

The Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana will develop visual arts exhibitions and related public programming to engage people in civic dialogue. The project will create a new cultural model for an arts center where residents see the arts as a catalyst for civic engagement and community transformation. The program will produce 12 major visual art exhibitions, engage up to 200 contemporary Latino artists, and expand public programs to enhance cultural opportunities. The exhibitions are expected to reach approximately 60,000 community members through 55 public programming events. The goal of the project is to deepen the understanding and appreciation of Latino art and culture, benefiting visitors and artist participants.
