New Museum Los Gatos

The New Museum Los Gatos will plan and implement an exhibition and related programming about the culture, heritage and traditions of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe in partnership with the Tribe, San José State University, West Valley College, and Mosaic America. Project staff will contract with members of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe to select themes and create content and associated programming for the exhibition, including panel discussions, educational demos, workshops, and lectures. Project staff will also work with paid graduate and undergraduate students and a curatorial intern to create an educational toolkit about the exhibition for classroom use and will make the toolkit available online.
