Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum will implement Art to G.O., a new program to extend its reach to children and adults in northern New Mexico, with a focus on rural communities where access to arts education resources is limited. The program will address the geographic and economic barriers that many families face by providing engaging learning opportunities in safe and trusted community settings. Using a mobile truck equipped with tools and resources, the museum’s community educators and local teaching artists will present hands-on education programs to community members in neighborhood spaces. Through diverse community partnerships, this project will provide approximately 10,000 children and adults with opportunities to learn about the life and legacy of Georgia O’Keeffe, as well as the diverse people and landscape of New Mexico that inspired her.
