Museo de Arte de Ponce

The Museo de Arte de Ponce will improve access to its collection by creating digital records for 381 paintings and 363 three-dimensional objects from their collections of European, Latin American, and North American art. Because the museum was forced to close for an extended period of time due to an earthquake, hurricanes, and the COVID-19 pandemic, this project will help increase the museum’s visibility and access to the museum’s collection. The project will also allow the museum to increase its digital collections, create guides and standards to upload condition reports, revise and update its database, and train staff to use the database as a reporting tool.
