Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum

Log Number: MA-249138-OMS-21

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum seeks to further describe and digitize their collection. Their archives contain 14,552 collection items on the history of the Holocaust and human rights in a local context, with 4,008 items remaining to be catalogued. The museum will create a fully accessible, robust catalog and digital collection while maintaining proper metadata standards. It also will hire one full-time, Master’s level cataloger to catalog the backlog alongside existing library and archives staff, interns, and volunteers. Ultimately, the museum will fully catalog their collection, which includes diaries, letters, photographs, and 3D objects. This project will allow the museum to better serve the public with complete, searchable online records and establish the museum as the only regional repository of human rights artifacts from the Holocaust.
