Bald Head Island Conservancy

The Bald Head Island Conservancy will provide its visitors and surrounding community with a better understanding and appreciation for the diversity of barrier island ecology by creating and installing new signage throughout its nature trails and grounds. The project will replace inconsistent and inaccurate signs throughout the campus with 300 new signs that provide consistent information about the island flora. At the entrance to different trails, signs will be installed with in-depth information and QR codes leading to the center's website, providing access to more information about these topics as well as about the conservancy and how it helps to conserve the barrier islands.
