Tech Museum of Innovation will develop and construct multiple hands-on design-challenge exhibits, Design Process Areas (DPAs), to engage museum visitors in content that conveys—through activities, technologies, and spaces—ways to foster creativity and innovation. The museum will help visitors learn about 21st century skills through DPAs focusing on best practices of idea generation, team brainstorming, team dynamics, the human-centered design process, and entrepreneurial practices. This project will provide opportunities for people from all walks of life, from low-income students to entrepreneurs, to learn and participate in Silicon Valley's culture of innovation, thus contributing to a more diverse and inclusive future for Silicon Valley's tech industry.
