Yale University (Peabody Museum of Natural History)

Yale University’s Peabody Museum of Natural History will present a free after-school program entitled EVOLUTIONS to 60 New Haven public high school students. EVOLUTIONS is an academically rigorous program focused on science literacy, college preparation, and career awareness developed to meet the expressed needs of a diverse group of high school students from the New Haven community who are traditionally underrepresented in the sciences. This grant will support the program for the academic years 2013-15 and will enable students to participate in career ladder internships or summer internships. The program will positively impact these students along with their peers, families, and communities.
