DuPage Children's Museum

DuPage Children’s Museum (DCM) will develop a professional development program for childcare providers so they may acquire the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning activities for young children in their care; partner with parents to provide STEM learning activities in their homes; and support other providers by presenting workshops, coaching, and mentoring. This project will prepare young children from low-income families who do not have access to Preschool for All and Head Start programs for success in school. Young children who spend their early learning years in childcare settings will now be able to enter kindergarten prepared for successful STEM learning in grades K-5.
