Kansas City Zoological Gardens

The Kansas City Zoo will upgrade its information technology (IT) infrastructure to current standards and expectations including installing a new platform, consolidating existing servers into the new virtual environment, and upgrading core business applications, operating systems, and business software. These IT enhancements will allow the zoo to be able to provide more relevant, accessible information to its visitors about nature and conservation via the latest technology and improve the documentation of its animal collection. The project will allow the zoo to share its research, educational programs, and conservation data and with its audiences in new ways and support its mission to “enhance the care and survival of wildlife through research, education and conservation.”
