Minnetrista

Minnetrista will use its grant to establish its first ever comprehensive interpretive plan, which will encompass and link the myriad experiences available on its forty-acre campus. The campus includes museum galleries, historic homes, ornamental gardens, and natural areas. The institution-wide interpretive plan will address deficits identified in recent museum assessment program (MAP) assessments by focusing on four components: audience development, internal alignment, campuswide experiences, and outcome evaluation. A second phase of the project will determine branding strategies that will support the implementation of the new interpretive plan. Grant funds will support the hiring of professional consultant advisors who will guide the interpretive planning and brand strategy initiatives.
