Boonshoft Museum of Discovery

The Dayton Society of Natural History (DSNH) will begin a project to integrate data and systems needed to meet the expectations of tech-savvy visitors while enhancing the organization’s ability to share pertinent information easily between departments. The DSNH operates three sites: the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton, SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park in Dayton, and Fort Ancient, forty miles south of Dayton in Oregonia. The addition of updated software solutions will integrate member and visitor data among all three institutional sites, and among the Guest Services, Development, Education, Finance/Accounting and Marketing Departments. The project will also increase organizational revenues through many new opportunities available due to increased online functionality and new accuracies and efficiencies for staff.
