University of Wyoming (University of Wyoming Art Museum)

The University of Wyoming Art Museum will complete the second phase of its “Collection Advancement Digitization Project,” which first began with a content and valuation assessment of the museum’s nearly 8000 objects. The museum will now digitally re-photograph the identified “core collection” of 6,628 objects in order to document them for the permanent record. It will also integrate the museum’s collection into the University of Wyoming online search engine for its libraries, archives, and museums. The result will be increased curatorial and research opportunities, integrated access with the institution’s online search engine, and availability of professional, high-resolution, standardized images for publication.
