Bellevue Botanical Garden

The Bellevue Botanical Garden will begin a project to incorporate technological advances into existing curatorial tools for greater accuracy and efficiency in maintaining plant collections records. The garden has invested in technology to provide visitors with valuable plant collections information both in the garden and at home through its Searchable Online Plant Database. This project will help lay the foundation for greater accuracy of the underlying plant data within the database, and allow for real-time access to plant collections data and upgrades to the database design itself. The project’s two parts—Living Collections Mapping and Database Design Upgrade—will occur concurrently.
