The Museum of Science, Boston, will use its grant to fabricate the new Hall of Human Life (HHL), an innovative new permanent exhibit gallery being developed to increase health literacy and inspire the next generation of life science researchers and innovators. The central theme of HHL is “Our bodies and those of everyone on Earth are constantly changing.” The interactive exhibit area will encourage visitors to hone their evaluative skills and to ask and find the answers to questions such as What does this data mean? What is the evidence to support this? How do I distinguish “real” science from “hype”? so they can make more informed decisions in their daily lives.
