Young At Art of Broward

Young At Art of Broward will create Culturescapes, a 4,200-square-foot exhibition that will encourage children and adults to view the world beyond their own cultural perspective. Through the voices of artists from Haiti, Latin America, Cuba, Africa, Asia, and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, children will build self-identity by celebrating pride in their own individual heritage and enhance their geographical, historical, and cultural awareness by using comparative skills. Culturescapes will encourage children and adults to celebrate and explore the plurality of cultures and to become agents for cross-cultural appreciation and respect.
