The Works

In order to serve its community more effectively, The Works, a hands-on museum focusing on engineering, science, and technology, will add to its programming to reach a wider age range of visitors through creative exhibits and programs that build an interest and appreciation for engineering. New programs will include special hands-on activities for preschoolers, a lecture and “do it” program for teenagers and adults, and additional opportunities for the museum’s core audience, youth aged 5 to 12. Programs will be designed to entice and excite learners of all ages. The museum will also modify seating and signage to accommodate visitors of all ages, update a popular all-ages exhibit (Face Warp), and install a new age-neutral musical sensor exhibit.
