Hubbard Museum of the American West

The Hubbard Museum of the American West will upgrade and add technology to its new distance learning center to provide new opportunities to learn about the history and culture of the southwest for adults, families, and pre-K through grade 12 students. New technology swill support programming from the Smithsonian Institution to better meet the needs of underserved populations in rural southeastern New Mexico. A primary purpose for the learning center is to make it possible for citizens who may never have the opportunity to travel to Washington, DC to “visit” the national museums.
