Utah State University will use funds to continue“Saturdays at the Museum of Anthropology,” a program that offers the public a new anthropological theme and programming every Saturday. Under the supervision of the museum director and curator, university museum studies students develop topics, schedule activities, do community outreach, conduct evaluation, and work at the museum on Saturdays. Together, the students and their supervisors have fine-tuned the program to create a dynamic and stimulating educational experience for visitors in a discipline that is ever more vital to promoting an informed citizenry in a multicultural world.
