Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum will expand family programs, including options for families with children six years old and younger. New program components will be designed, such as 1) “create zones,” a place where families can work together and create art; 2) gallery games, which encourage families to look at art; and 3) new Family Backpacks, which provide activities to help families interact with the collection. Activities will be designed ti incorporate play and creativity, and will be produced in both English and Spanish. The project will help the museum pursue its vision to “bring in the future” by continuing to attract and connect with families and help develop successful strategies to increase their participation.
