Children's Museum Tucson

“Stepping Stones to Success,” an early childhood education program, will enable the Tucson Children’s Museum to strategically address the gap in high-quality, early childhood educational programs available in southern Arizona. The museum will work with a variety of informal community partners to enhance and expand accessible early learning opportunities. To meet this goal, the museum will create programs for caregivers and young children focusing on literacy, music, and physical fitness; expand museum availability to low-income schools; provide a daily story hour; develop a pre-K hands-on exhibition; provide quarterly training for parents on child development and school readiness; and offer free quarterly professional development courses for qualifying teachers.
