County of Essex, New Jersey (Turtle Back Zoo)

The project will strengthen the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo’s core education, conservation, and recreation functions by redesigning major interpretive tools and introducing new interactive features to the exhibits. The zoo will install new signage throughout its current exhibits consistent with the theme and design objectives of the master plan. Interactive elements will also be developed, from lower-tech flip cards to high-tech electronic kiosks that will feature games, tutorials, quizzes, and other applications that reinforce and extend the learning experience.
