The Cincinnati Nature Center (CNC) will increase access with the "All Persons' Discovery Trail Project," an Americans with Disabilities Act–compliant exhibition. The project will comprise 12 interactive, multisensory, interpretive elements that will vary according to the season and cover three different ecosystems. Each element will interpret one of four educational themes: 1) the natural history of southwest Ohio, 2) the cultural history of the nature center and its land, 3) sustainability and restoration, and 4) the community in nature. The museum hopes to inspire a connection to nature through education, increase member participation in NatureVersity (a program designed by CNC to train parents, teachers, and adults on effective ways to mentor children in the outdoors), and to increase repeat visits.
