Children's Museum of Winston-Salem

The Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem will use its funding to support the development, evaluation, fabrication, and installation of two outdoor exploration zones as part of its long-term exhibits plan. Products will include concept designs for the outdoor exploration zones, schematic construction plans, new publicity materials, installed exhibits, and new programs and educational materials. This project will be a significant investment in the museum’s institutional capacity, enabling the museum to 1) further develop its site and facility, 2) increase the amount of square footage devoted to interactive exhibits, and 3) provide a wider range of educational experiences to core audiences.
