Chabot Space and Science Center

Chabot Space and Science Center will implement the design phase of its upcoming outdoor exhibit, Launchpad. Through Launchpad, students and visitors will learn about space and the sciences as they play and engage in hands-on activities throughout the exhibit, which will be located in an outdoor area beneath the center’s Skybridge. Launchpad will provide opportunities for intellectual curiosity and exploration in science and astronomy concepts. It will play a key role in Chabot’s strategic goals to leverage its strong reputation and history as a safe and welcoming community resource and increase visitorship by providing an outdoor, hands-on learning environment and valued resource for Earth and space education.
