National Trust for Historic Preservation (Woodrow Wilson House Museum (NTHP))

The Woodrow Wilson House, a historic property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, plans to develop and install an exhibition entitled “Woodrow Wilson, President Electric: Harnessing the Power of Technology in the Progressive Era.” The exhibition will illuminate, for modern audiences, President Wilson’s leadership role in fostering scientific and technological innovation during his administration and explain their impact on the lives of people today. The exhibition seeks to engage younger, nontraditional audiences in cross-disciplinary thinking through the combined use of hands-on interactive experiences, user-led content, and multimedia resources, along with authentic artifacts from the Wilson House collection. Visitors will be asked thought-provoking questions designed to draw connections with the contemporary world.
