Morton Arboretum

To highlight the important role trees play in creating greener, healthier, and more livable communities, The Morton Arboretum will develop and design a traveling exhibit intended to empower people to protect and preserve threatened and endangered trees. Through this project, The Morton Arboretum, arboreta, botanical gardens, and related organizations across the United States will offer a meaningful and layered visitor experience using an outdoor exhibit, integrated multimedia, and self-guided and facilitated interpretive materials based upon compelling stories of the earth’s most endangered trees and the people working to save them. Featuring the work of the Global Trees Campaign, this project will deliver key messages illustrating the cause and effect relationship between people and the environment.
