Park City Museum

The Park City Historical Society will use its grant to fund the development, implementation, and evaluation of new educational programs to complement and extend the content of the museum’s permanent exhibition, “Silver & Snow: A History of Park City.” The project will more effectively engage target audiences, enable visitors to discover connections across generations, content, and historical contexts, and provide visitors reasons for repeat visitation. The programs will be developed by a Program Advisory Committee made up of staff and museum educators from larger Utah museums. The programs will provide new ways for visitors to explore the distinctive cultural heritage of Park City and will support the city’s goal of “maintaining Main Street as the heart and soul of Park City.”
