The Frazier International History Museum will implement a traveling exhibition and programs on the Civil War, entitled “My Brother, My Enemy.” Developed to observe the 150th anniversary of the outbreak of the Civil War, the exhibition will look at the divisions within Kentucky families and how the divided family became a metaphor for divisions in the state and across the nation. The exhibit will be distributed in two formats: a 3,500-square-foot exhibition featuring interpretive panels, interactive maps, and 100 objects that will travel to five sites in the U.S. and one in the United Kingdom, and an exhibition with limited artifacts designed for libraries, community colleges, and civic centers in rural and underserved areas of Kentucky and the region.
