The Columbus Museum of Art (CMA) will host a Creativity Summit integrating CMA’s newly designated Center for Creativity within a statewide conversation addressing the importance of creativity, best practices in creativity, and personal development in creativity. The summit will engage a variety of audiences, including elected officials, business and community leaders, educators, school administrators, docents, and Central Ohio families in far-reaching discussions. Led by acknowledged experts in the field of educational creativity, the summit will help frame the state’s new initiatives around twenty-first-century learning, with a key emphasis on creativity, both in schools and in the workforce. In-depth evaluation around the summit and renovated spaces will assist CMA in creating an ongoing roadmap for programs, research, and collaborations enabling the museum to fully realize the aspirations and goals of the center while reinforcing its role as a creativity resource.
