Westfield State College (Downtown Art Gallery)

Westfield State College will produce a series of eight fine-arts exhibits in its Downtown Art Gallery in Westfield, Massachusetts. The college seeks to engage its community in a renewal, exploration, and celebration of the arts as part of the city’s formal strategic plan for urban revitalization, “Re-thinking Downtown Westfield.” The exhibits will be integrated with civic events organized by the Westfield Business Improvement District and Westfield on Weekends. The regional and national reputations of the artists and the themes of their exhibits will attract and engage audiences who have previously overlooked Westfield as a destination.
