Log Number: MA-04-10-0342-10

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Lifelong Learning Center will research, develop, and write interpretive content and storyboards for 425 works of art in “Behind the Scenes” spaces that will introduce visitors to the work of museum professionals. It will place visitors in the position of thinking about and interacting with works of art as museum professionals do. Four concepts—collecting, understanding, preserving, and presenting—identified by internal, interdivisional teams comprising education, curatorial, and conservation professionals, with assistance from the museum’s library, archives, and collection management departments will distinguish the spaces.
