Impression 5 Museum

Impression 5 Science Center will use its grant to support “Expanding the First Impression Room: Expanding Opportunities.” Currently, the First Impression Room (FIR) provides early childhood development for the center’s youngest visitors (zero to four years of age) but is limited to 991 square feet. The museum plans to create new exhibits and accompanying activities and to equip the FIR with furniture and activities designed to promote early learning. Additional space will also be utilized for new and existing programming for children zero to four years of age. The museum will hire two child development specialists to further build the programming for this particular age group.
