ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain

The Lake Champlain Basin Science Center (LCBSC) will begin a two-year “Life-Long Learning in Science (LLS)” program to deliver twenty-four science topic special events (“Café Scientifique” and “Meet the Scientist”) and produce eight “Science Experience Kits” to be implemented daily in a staffed lab setting. The goal of the LLS program is to establish a need-based onsite and online program for adults, delivered through several strategies and in partnership with key academic and media partners. LCBSC will significantly expand regional adult education about important science topics to meet needs defined by participant surveys, academic partners, membership, and the media.
