EdVenture

EdVenture Children’s Museum will support a comprehensive two-year project to expand the museum’s early childhood exhibits and education programs. This project will expand EdVenture’s primary early childhood exhibit, “My Backyard,” to provide children under four years of age with increased opportunities while also allowing parents/caregivers of multi-aged children the opportunity to fully experience the museum together. EdVenture, under the guidance of an advisory team and a hired early childhood specialist, will redevelop its existing programmatic framework of early childhood programs to better meet the development needs and interest of children ages four and younger and their parents/caregivers. The project will advance EdVenture’s vision to create lifelong learners and enable EdVenture to invest resources in a core segment of its audience currently underrepresented at the museum.
