Albany Institute of History and Art

The Albany Institute of History & Art (AIHA) will initiate a “Digital Renaissance” by redesigning and rebuilding its Web site to allow AIHA virtual visitors to experience the rich history and cultural heritage of Albany and the Hudson Valley and connect with an online community of like-minded peers. The new, dynamic Web site will allow the community members to construct their own explorations of the resources. The new online experience will provide increased access to the collections, education programs, and exhibits, and it will serve as an interpretive tool for a variety of audiences, thereby strengthening the Institute’s ability to engage current visitors and reach new audiences. The project will be guided by community input and a partnership with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
