The Palau Public Library will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Palau, specific goals include: 1) Update library collection development and support programs and outreach activities - including collaborations with non-governmental organizations, reading programs, and digital literacy skills; 2) Improve Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and technology upgrade - including related training for library personnel; 3) Provide trainings and professional development for librarians to enhance skills in library workforce.
