The Minnesota Department of Education- State Library Services will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Minnesota, specific goals address 1) Library services and policies promoting barrier-free access; 2) Libraries contributing to the World's Best Workforce; 3) Libraries responding to diverse community needs; 4) Library value being measured and demonstrated; and 5) Libraries facilitating digital equity and literacy.
