Maine State Library

The Maine State Library will use funds under the American Rescue Plan Act to help communities respond directly and immediately to the pandemic, as well as to related economic and community needs through equitable approaches in digital inclusion and library services. They will continue to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022. In Maine, specific goals address 1) expanding library resource sharing and services for all Maine citizens; 2) improving the Maine library workforce through continuing education, professional development and leadership opportunities; 3) providing and improving library services to individuals with disabilities and to Maine residents; and 4) expanding and enhancing life‐long learning opportunities Maine residents.
