The Idaho Commission for Libraries will use funds to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). In Idaho, specific goals address 1) Building the institutional capacity of libraries to better serve their communities; 2) Supporting the role of libraries in preparing Idahoans to be college and career ready; 3) Ensuring equitable access to information and library services for Idahoans with disabilities, those in rural communities, English-language learners, people living in poverty, and other underserved communities; and 4) Supporting the role of libraries in economic and employment development.
