The Maine State Library will use funds under the CARES Act to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus; to expand digital network access, purchase internet accessible devices, and provide technical support services. They will continue to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022. In Maine, specific goals address 1) expanding library resource sharing and services for all Maine citizens; 2) improving the Maine library workforce through continuing education, professional development and leadership opportunities; 3) providing and improving library services to individuals with disabilities and to Maine residents; and 4) expanding and enhancing life‐long learning opportunities Maine residents.
