National Archives, Culture and Historic Preservation

Through train-the-trainer workshops, the Federated States of Micronesia’s National Archives, Culture and Historic Preservation (NACH) will enhance collection management and computer skills among the islands’ elementary school libraries. To increase local capacity for collection management, trainers will hold software-based workshops for librarians in each of the four main island states. Participants, in turn, will provide software and computer skills training to other public and private schools and sustain the project’s momentum. The project will support trainer salaries and workshop materials, and it will enable regional conference participation by library staff.
