Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens

This two-year project will create a model exhibition of rare books, manuscripts, photographs, works of art and other objects drawn from approximately thirty special collections libraries in seven partnering institutions within Los Angeles County. The exhibition, to be held at the Hammer Museum in the fall of 2001, will be accompanied by a printed exhibition catalogue, outreach and education programs, and a web-site linking several dozen Los Angeles libraries.
